Password Policy

1. User passwords
Passwords must be at least 8 characters. The authentication provider rejects passwords that appear in known breach corpora ("HIBP" check).
2. Storage
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes by the authentication provider; Namvio Web Services never sees plain-text passwords.
3. Recovery
Self-service password reset is available from the sign-in screen. Reset links are short-lived and single-use.
4. Workforce credentials
Personnel must use unique, strong passwords managed in a vetted password manager and must enable multi-factor authentication wherever supported.
