Internal Legal & Compliance Design Specification

1. Purpose

Describe how legal and compliance content is authored, reviewed, versioned and published in DubaiPropertyLoan. This is a process document, not a customer commitment.

2. Authoring workflow

1) Draft (AI-assisted, internal). 2) Internal review by Proprietor. 3) External counsel review (required before relying on a document in a regulated context). 4) Publish via the legal route system. 5) Track changes with a version note and an updated effective date.

3. Document ownership

Each document has an owner (default: Proprietor) and a review cadence (annual unless legal change requires sooner).

4. Change log discipline

Material changes are summarised in changelog-location and announced to customers in line with the Terms of Service.

5. Outstanding items requiring counsel

• Governing law and dispute venue.
• Refund language for jurisdictions with statutory cooling-off rights.
• Subprocessor list and SCC mechanics for UAE PDPL & EU GDPR.
• Specific AML/CTF positioning relative to UAE Central Bank, DFSA and FSRA.
• Any future certification pursuit.
